Glen Schnarr, M.C.I.P., R.P.P.
Glen Schnarr is the company President with over 35 years of professional planning experience in a wide variety of urban planning and development projects in Southern Ontario. Glen has built a reputation as a well respected professional planner with the ability to effectively design, process and communicate planning and land development issues and present these before regional and municipal Councils and the Ontario Municipal Board. Glen oversees all aspects of the company and offers a wide and unique range of experience to any project.

 

Glen Broll, M.C.I.P., R.P.P.
Glen Broll is a Partner who has a wide range of experience in his over 20 years as a public and private sector planner. Glen has experience successfully creating and implementing urban and rural land development proposals, including community plans, recreational destinations, site plans, and development plans across Southwestern Ontario. His projects have involved numerous public participation forums. Glen’s wide spectrum of experience has included all planning and development approval processes, including preparation of comprehensive zoning by-laws, Official Plan policies, and giving evidence at the Ontario Municipal Board.

 

Colin Chung, M.C.I.P., R.P.P.
Colin Chung is a Partner with over 20 years of planning experience in the public and private sector. Colin specializes in project management, special studies, processing development applications and dealing with conflict resolution and negotiations. Colin’s experience includes land use feasibility and financial impact analysis, upscale executive housing analysis and policy reports, large landowner group management and representation. Colin is also experienced in providing planning evidence before the Ontario Municipal Board.

 

Carl Brawley, M.C.I.P., R.P.P.
Carl Brawley is an Associate who has over 25 years of public and private sector professional planning experience. Carl’s experience includes research, analysis of development and policy related planning issues, completing development approval processes including Official Plan and Secondary Plan exercises, zoning by-law amendments, subdivisions, site planning, consents, and minor variances. Carl has extensive experience working with municipal and resident interests and providing evidence before the Ontario Municipal Board.

 

Jeff Duncan, A.C.S.T.(A), C.P.T.
Jeff Duncan is a Senior Planning Technician and an Associate who has over 20 years of experience in the planning, design and preparation of draft plans of subdivision, condominiums, site plans, marketing drawings and renderings and various other technical and presentational material. Jeff is the design coordinator and has extensive experience in the presentation and analysis of land use development projects including the processing of planning applications and presentations to local Council and Boards. In addition Jeff has six years of municipal experience as a Councillor for the Town of Erin

Liz Hurst, Chief Operating Officer
Liz Hurst is our Chief Operating Officer and has over 25 years of experience. Liz oversees and manages all aspects of the corporation including administrative, financial and Human Resources. With her several years of experience and expertise in all facets of Office Operations, Liz is able to efficiently manage our company which enables our planners to focus on providing our clients with the high level of professional service which they deserve and have come to expect.

 

Karen Bennett, M.C.I.P., R.P.P.
Karen Bennett is an Associate and has over 13 years of experience as a Planner. Her experience includes research, assistance in preparation and processing of planning applications, Official Plan and zoning by-law amendments, minor variances, and consents. Karen also has experience in the preparation of planning justification and rationale reports, including several golf course developments in the Greater Toronto Area. Her project experience spans over several municipalities. Karen has been accepted as an expert planning witness and has provided planning evidence at the Ontario Municipal Board.

 

Brian Sutherland, M.C.I.P., R.P.P.
Brian Sutherland is an Associate who has over five years of development planning experience in the public sector. Brian’s experience includes processing development applications including, Draft Plans of Subdivision, Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-Law Amendment, Site Plan, Minor Variance and Consent applications. Brian has been accepted as an expert planning witness and has provided planning evidence at the Ontario Municipal Board.

 

Jason Afonso, M.C.I.P., R.P.P.
Jason Afonso is a Planner with over five years of public and private sector planning experience.  Jason conducts research and analysis of municipal and provincial development policies and processes development applications including Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendments, Draft Plans of Subdivision, Site Plans, Condominiums, Minor Variances and Consent applications. Jason also provides planning justification and rationale for development proposals.

 

Jacqueline Candaras, M.C.I.P., R.P.P.
Jacqueline Candaras is a Planner with over four years of public and private sector planning experience. Jacqueline is experienced with both municipal planning policy and land use development projects, including the preparation of comprehensive master plans and development opportunity assessments for private sector clients.  Her experience also includes analysis of provincial, regional and municipal land use policies, the preparation of planning justification and rational reports for development proposals, and the processing of development applications including Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendments, Draft Plans of Subdivision / Condominiums, Site Plans, Minor Variances and Consent applications.

 

Nick Coric, B.A.
Nick Coric is a Planning Technician and recent graduate from McMaster University with a B.A. in Geography and from Mohawk College with a diploma in Urban Planning & GIS. Nick has received two Planning Graphic Awards and was named to the Dean’s Honour List at Mohawk College. Nick is involved in the AutoCad implementation of development projects as well as the preparation of Draft Plans of Subdivision, Development Concept Plans, Site Plans, and various graphic presentation materials.

 

Laura Abucay
Laura is our Executive Assistant and provides not only a friendly face and voice that greets our clients every day but is also responsible for administrative support.  In addition to providing the President and Partners with administrative executive assistance, Laura also provides support to the Chief Operating Officer to ensure our fast-paced, professional office continues to provide a high level of quality service to our valued clients.
